Blogarama

First day of the month long blog marathon! I haven't posted in two days - saving up writing ideas or just too lazy to think? You decide!

Slightly hungover this morning before work - went out with some friends I used to work with and had a great night. (Enjoy your travels Tim!) Sometimes all I need is a bit of socialising to perk me up.

I am already a little nervous about finding stuff to blog about everyday as I'm not writing my book anymore. Blogging about work will get old fast. So will blogging about tv and the other exciting activities that I usually get up to midweek. I have a few ideas, but if anyone would like a topic discussed or a question answered, please let me know and I will consider (steal) it.

I try to write every day, but I'm a bit scared about committing to it! Well done you for signing on the dotted line!

Good luck especially with the posting when hungover, it took me three days to recover from Friday night and I couldn't even look at the computer for two of them!

Hey, instead of posting while hungover, why not try posting while drunk? When I was a kid, our minister once gave a sermon while drunk, and I tell ya, it was the best ever (at least to me as a 7-year-old!)Furthermore, many a celebrated author has been known to hit the juice before they hit the page. I found you via blogcatalog, btw. I'm doing the NaBloPoMo, too. Have fun! ;P

Good luck for November! Blogging about TV sounds good to me. Feeling a little nervous too - but 1 down 29 to go!

I'm with JJ on this one - I can't quite sign up officially but I'll give it my best shot!

Good luck with the blogging adventure :-)

Well, you might find it helpful to consider first the kinds of post you could make, choosing from:
trivialities, pastiches, parodies, anecdotes, bons mots, spoofs, trouvailles, plagiarisms, causeries, reviews, pensées, abstracts, recollections, aperçus, short essays and quotations

...and then think what categories of subjects you might use, such as:
abroad, art, blogs, business, cartoons, cinema, computers/internet, fancies, fashion, food and drink, francophilia, hats, history, literature, local, mathematics military music nature, news, parodies/spoofs, people, personal, poetry, politics, quizzes, quotations, religion, royals, science/medicine, sex/gender, society, sport, superstition, theatre, TV, USA, words....

I mean, there's no law that says that blogs have to be about what you watched on TV last night, or how well your digestion is working.

Ooh, good luck... I'd never manage to have an idea or even a thought EVERY day!
