House cooling party

Oooh that's some hangover I have. Nasty. You think I'd learn, but no.

The Ours and I went to Blondie's house to celebrate the sale agreed on her place (The Ours called it a house cooling party - he had to repeat it several times before Daisy and I got it) and passing her driving test. We drank copious amounts of cava and wine, and then headed out to The Front Lounge where we bumped into Paddington by chance. Danced and drank more, hence the horrors this morning.

We invited our closest neighbours, the Doctor and Daisy, over for roast chicken with all the trimmings later. Any excuse to try out the new table!

Eeeeugh. A couple of paracetamol and my sympathy! I was very noble at lunch today we were part of a very big group and I refrained from drinking because I had work to do... how sad? But, at least no hangover.

A roast bird and more wine sounds the perfect remedy.

Sounds as if you had a great evening, well done!

oh I feel your pain and share it, I am still in the grip of my hangover and trying to summon the energy to roast some potatoes - were also doing Sunday lunch although more like dinner now.

hangovers are super ouchy, ewwww, and I am such a wimp. I feel sick as a badger on Irn Bru after a couple of glasses of cheap white. Maybe it's the chemicals?
