Still Life in Dublin

This piece of news caught my eye today. Inspired by this group that froze New York recently, the Dublin Improv Movement are planning a similar event this Saturday 23rd February in Dublin. It will be on Grafton St between Marks and Spencers and Brown Thomas for 5 minutes only. Like everything else in this universe there is a Facebook group that has all the details including how to get to the pub in time for the Rugby.

I'm not in town this weekend but would love to see it! Imagine a bit of peace and quiet on Grafton St...

I had a moment of confusion there for a second... Hello Michelle s'okay, I've remembered!

I loved that clip of frozen New York, but reckon it would've scared the living daylights out of me if I'd seen it.

Hi Michelle!

I loved the one in New York, hope. I don't know how the people kept so still I would have laughed.
I'll keep an eye out for the Youtube version of the Dublin one.

Hi jj - Don't worry I'm a bit confused too. It posts as Yvonne's name so I'm not sure why it doesn't say my name. I think from now on I'll put guest blog in the title so people don't wonder why I'm not writing about my second draft :-)

Spiralskies - Yes, it's a brilliant video! It also reminds me of the scene in the Ten Monkeys when they start dancing.

Alix - I'm going to keep an eye out for the Dublin footage too. I can wait to see what happens in Dublin.

Hi Michelle, this was done in Trafalgar Square last week. It must be so weird if you don't know why everyone has frozen.

Thanks helenmh - blogging is actually quite fun.

Hi Beccy - I tracked down the footage. I love the couples kissing and the sword fights.

P.S. I tried to delete my earlier comment but it looks more like it's censored! Oops!
