After a fun but tiring weekend I was all set to pass out in bed last night, but was kept awake by a storm that swatted the fire doors, peeled tiles off the neighbouring roofs and dropped debris through the glass panelled extensions at the back.
This morning the wind had died down and The Ours brought my laptop to where I stayed, in bed. I wrote 1140 words of my second draft, then completed an article about Las Vegas and sent it into BootsnAll.
Now all I have to do is stay awake until tonight. Where's that howling wind when you need it?

Had similar howling wind problems last night (yes I am referring to the weather). Need to take Molly-dog out for a walk now but it's raining so hard I can't face it!
Karen, it's stay in bed weather I reckon.
Well done at least the storm hasnt gone to waste.
I hope roof tiles didn't smash YOUR glass extension *look of horror*
How nice to stay in bed though. My laptop is so cranky at the moment it would probably overheat and burst into flames if I put it anywhere near my duvet!
I love staying in bed and working on the laptop. How productive would I be if I could do it every day?
Debs, yep I'm lucky that my fella gets up early otherwise I would have slept in again!
Cal, luckily it wasn't our extension!
Helen, I'm hoping that I can do it everyday, but I'm guessing that my back will start complaining soon.
