They've finally arrived! The ever-generous Beccy of Peppermint Tea sent me some homemade flapjacks - just because she felt like it. What a champ.
As soon as I took the above picture I got stuck in. They are by far the best flapjacks I've ever tasted: sweet, moist and melt-in-your-mouth gooey. Instant mood elevators.
Beccy you shouldn't have. But I'm so glad you did.

I'm looking forward to mamphing these when I get home
Thanks for sharing - my laptop is now covered in drool. Pffft.
Oh how you make me feel good!
Would you believe it, a pack got to England a day earlier than those found their way across Dublin!
Glad you're enjoying them.
brotmonster, you'd better get back home soon!
Ariel, so sorry. ;)
Beccy, I can well believe it, An Post is the pits!
Thank you again for your generosity.
Dear hellojed. Wow you've whet my appetite. I hope my flapjacks make it to Ukraine.. one way or another!
little miss moi, I hope they wing their way to you soon.
Mouthwatering...hmm...I'm unfortunate I'm too far away...
Alright, these look delicious, but where I live, flapjacks are similar to pancakes or flat thick crepes. These look more like a cake. I'm with ariel though, I have to wipe the drool off now. Thanks for sharing. :)
yea ginafish, when i moved here i was quite confused by the flapjack. but they're damn yummy. so i was pleasantly confused!
