Friday links

It's been a busy week. Wednesday was taken up by masses of paperwork (our apartment development is in dispute with the management company and the builders over a massive electricity bill) and a very long roundtrip to the airport to collect my mobile phone.

But the slog is about to end - a weekend of three birthday parties lies in front of me. Tonight is Blondie and Shortie's birthday bash. I haven't seen Blondie for ages, and Shortie has just returned from a two year round the world trip, so it's going to be a great night. And on Saturday it's the Ours' birthday drinks.

Saturday is also the night of the Eurovision Song Contest, so my first two posts are dedicated to this stellar (and utterly earnest) competition.

Switzerland's entry this year, had me in stitches
Father Ted's entry - My Lovely Horse

If the Eurovision isn't your thing, try these:

Conan o'Brien visits Intel
A Bit of Fry and Laurie - Barman
The Irish search engine

I was in stitches listening to the Father Ted song on the radio this morning.

Sounds like a long and fun weekend ahead, hope you don't suffer too much afterwards.

The Father Ted video is hilarious!
That Conan video is funny too, especially since I live in Silicon Valley. The husband does work at a lot of the semiconductor places, and they really are that bad (bunny suit, nerds and all).
Have a great weekend!
