It's a beautiful day here in Baile Átha Cliath.
I've been stopping and starting all morning, and so far I only have 100 words on the page. These things happen. I'm distracted. The weekend is only a few hours away. I've got cocktail ingredients to buy, clothes to wash and an apartment to get ready.
Brisbane's answer to Nigella Lawson is having 'Study Prison' breakout drinks tonight. W00T! Saturday beckons with a shorts and sarong party, and then homemade cocktails with Daisy to watch the final of Any Dream Will Do. The hideous reality tv bug has hit again! It's all Daisy's fault.
Anyway, it's all good. Have a great weekend.

i agree that knowing you have to shop for cocktail ingredients can be way distracting.
and then once you have them, and they're lined up on the counter, winking at you in the sunlight.....doens't it make you thirsty?
