I know you've probably heard the great news about Alan Johnston's release, but I thought I'd share this great article by Alan's peers that I really enjoyed.
The Ours has the day off today, so we're going to lunch at Busyfeet and Coco. Then we're spending the day lazing around and watching films. Can't wait.

Great article on Alan, I heard of his release but any tv I've been watching has been Wimbledon!

that was a great story. i'm glad he was released. but what an ordeal.
i remember years ago when terry anderson was held hostage in beirut in the mid-1980s. it was astounding then for a journalist to be treated that way.
not anymore. they're seen as fair game.
