Awh, thanks

I'm so delighted - I've been given another award.

And here are five bloggers whose creativity shines through:

I know, Beccy has the award already, but this is my blog so I can do what I like. She's quite obviously talented in arts, crafts and cooking - in fact I have first hand experience of her baking skills. Those flapjacks were the best I've ever tasted.

Angie over at Angie's Write has a great turn of phrase and is a fellow writer/blogger; she struggles with her need to write versus a 'proper job'. I hear ya!

A. Writer is never afraid to share her wobbles and fears about writing, and her honesty is inspiring.

Julia Buckley for building a great career out of writing and her always hilarious posts!

And last but not least, My New Notebook for not only writing a novel and being a mother, but for also recently taking up knitting...how does she do it.

*Update: This award originates here. (Thanks Angie)

First, congrats!
Second, good luck with your first novel--doubt it will be the last.

Third, what job did you quit?
I wrote a commentary on just that sort of thing for a newspaper a couple of months back. You can read it at www.pattimccracken.blogspot.com. In any case, I didn't come here to promote this, but after finding your blog, I thought it might encourage you to know you're not alone. Hats off!

Just came across your blog and I really admire what you are doing. I have gone part time and working from home in order to spend more time with my family and to write and paint. Easier said than done - especially with a toddler. Anyway - I read an article in the Sunday Business Post http://www.sbpost.ie/post/pages/p/story.aspx-qqqt=TRAVEL+AND+WELLBEING-qqqm=nav-qqqid=25541-qqqx=1.asp this week about a one day fiction writting workshop in October with Sean O'Reilly and a publisher. I think you have to submit a piece of work to them and based on that they choose the participants. The website they gave was http://www.stingingfly.org/fiction_workshop.html. Thought it might be of interest to you and your writer friends. I am new to blogging and looking forward to reading more about your work.

Well thank you very much, funnily enough you were away when I wrote my post and awarded you this very same award (las Saturday)!
