Finish my novel
That includes rewriting, sending it out to editors and friends for review, another rewrite based on their comments and then agent/publisher bound. I'm not sure how realistic this goal is but I need something to shoot for.
Give up junk food for a year
Straight down the line, this means no Burger King, KFC and so on. But junk food could also be frozen pizzas or overly processed foods...it might take me some time to put a definition together that's realistic!
Read more books
I'd like to write in the morning and then read or research in the afternoon. This is where the next resolution comes in.
Reduce time spent on the Internet
...freeing up time to read more. Research for my novel doesn't count but everything else does, including reading blogs. I'm going to aim for reading blogs every other day at first and see how that goes. Otherwise I'll be cutting out celebrity websites and the like to counteract brain rot!
Walk an hour a day
Which I already do for work, but when I finish up on the 1st February I'll need to continue my walks so that I don't look like a house.
Happy New Year everyone!
