Website

Lots of cars lugging around several inches of snow this morning. They looked a wee bit out of place in the bone-dry city centre, but a welcome reminder of Christmas nontheless.

Unfortunately it came with a downside. After a frigid walk to work I just couldn't warm up.

My shivers kept me awake after my late night though - putting together my new website! Okay it still needs some work (I could do with a decent photo) but it's a good start I think.

Otherwise I've been reading as much as possible, getting ready for my second stab at the book.

Enjoy your Friday!

Oh look at you with your spiffy new website! Very cool. I must learn how to do that someday rather soon...it's the hosting bit that confuses me most, but I plan to put it off a little while longer. Congrats.
(I do hope you've shaken the chill. You don't want to get sick before you dive into the editing!)

Thanks Angie! The hosting bit confused me too at first but it was all sorted by the company I went through. The designing part is a bit buggy though :( will take me a while to get used to it.

We were teased with a few floating flurries of snow before the rain came and dashed all our hopes!

Love the new look.

Wow, check you out with your new website and outedness.

It can only mark the start of something fab!

Beccy, we were the same, the snow was falling on the way home from work but the city is just to warm...

Jen, that's what I'm hoping! Thanks for being so sweet.

Looks fab :-) A great start to a new year - how exciting! Have a lovely weekend - all the snow has gone in Maynooth, we can just look forward to lashing rain, apparently... :-(

Thanks a million for your support! I'm still wrestling with the coding, it'll take me a while to master it...

Jen, damn the rain. Didn't know you were in Maynooth, I've had some good times in that town!

It's a lovely place :-)

Although I was walking past a bunch of, ooh, 15-year-old-lads the other day when I overheard this snippet:

'No wonder everyone in this place turns to f@*£ing drink.'

Oh to be underage and living in a small town...

Jen, LOL! It's hard to appreciate your town when you're a teenager, even if it's pretty.
