Sixth Story Finished

Finally I woke up this morning completely disease-free and raring to go, so I re-wrote the 2500 words to finish my sixth story!

I find this happens a lot - one day I won't write at all, the next I'll write twice as much. I'm not sure if the break allows me to work out problems in the plot or with the characters, or the loss of a day under a looming deadline is a motivator, but whatever it is I didn't stop once today. The words just kept coming.

Anyway I'm off to do some much-needed domesticating. The Ours and I are going to Birmingham this weekend to visit his family and our laundry basket is overflowing. No rest for the wicked...

Hi Yvonne

Just found my way here via Karen's blog. I'm new to blogging and wanted to say Hi. Good luck with your story!

Glad you're feeling better. I think I'm about due for one of those writing days. 2500 words is fantastic and now with the 6th story done, you're on the home stretch!

Hi, Yvonne
I've not been blogging for long, I keep 'seeing' you on other blogs I visit so came to see yours.
Your book sounds fascinating and those days we have where the words flow are great aren't they! I get them...sometimes.

Enjoy your weekend away.

Aaah leave the dirty wwashing - write some more, strike while the irons hot (oops didn't mean to mention clean clothes....) F

Patp, thanks for visiting! I only get them sometimes too, love those days when they happen.

Fionnuala, I can never keep writing after I've stopped like that, not sure why, I work in bursts and then I'm exhausted afterwards, only good for washing!

I tend to be like that as well - write very little or nothing one day, find the words pouring too fast for my fingers another.

Good going on the completed story. Celebrate with a little drink - once the washing's done, that is...

Glad you're feeling better. Well done on writing lots - I can see the steam from your keyboard from here! Kat :-)

Wordtryst, thanks! The drink will have to wait until the weekend unfortunately, am trying to be good ahead of my holiday. How boring :(

KatW, my laptop is struggling at the moment, wonder if it's all that typing?!
